At only 28 Years old, Thando Thabethe has been on radio for 10  years. She descibes it as "a journey never planned, that introduced her to a love she never knew." In 2008 Thando Thabethe joined Campus radio station, UJFM as a newsreader, but found her true identity as main host, which saw her join popular youth radio station YFM in 2011. She went on to host "The Ignition" 3-6am weekdays, before bagging a daytime weekend slot, she called "The Audio Treat" Saturdays and Sundays 12-3pm.

Her incredible growth, spontanianity, and down to earth persona led her to be head-hunted by 5FM. She joined the drive time team, as a traffic reporter and contributor on the Roger Goode Show.

Once again Thando's experience and authenticity demanded she spear head her own show. 2016 saw the birth of "The Thando Thabooty Show"

Within a year Thando Thabethe became the first female ever to host a drive time show on 5FM,

Thando can without a doubt be dubbed a game-changer, a leader and trendsetter within the radio sphere
